There are a few addons for rogues, they will help u be quicker with the combo points / eaiser to see and to remember to put out a new S&D.
The ones Im using and that might also help u is called:
UIM:ComboPoints:
just displays a rogue's combo points.
TrickOrThreat:
A fairly simplistic addon to keep track of Tricks of the Trade.
Alerts you when you apply tricks to a target - Uses the RaidWarning frame and sends a tell to your target to let them know you are misdirecting. If the target is not a tank and they are over 50% threat, it will tell them their threat in relation to the tank.
Alerts you when you receive tricks from a rogue - Uses the RaidWarning frame and plays an audible alert.
Reports damage dealt over the duration of tricks when you misdirect a target.
Reports extra damage dealt by your target due to Tricks.
SliceCommander:
Energy bar and Slice & Dice cooldown meter designed to help you maximize your last few seconds out of each slice and dice during boss fights.
Delivers audio alerts at 3s, 2s and 1s remaining on Slice and Dice expiration, and audio rewards for refreshing slice and dice.
Additionally the energy bar has two adjustable energy thresholds which can also play an audio alert.
Also manages Hunger For Blood expirations for Mutilate builds.
Rogue Focus Classic:
Rogue Focus Classic (RFC) shows Combo Points and Energy Bar in one simple addon, for Rogues and Cat Form Druids.
By the option window (type /roguefocus or /rfc to open it) you can:
Listen an audible ticks when the energy bar is full ("Tick!", "GO!").
